I wish the Guardian and the Daily Mail would both **** ***, awful rags. Absolutely no research or thought in anything they print.

The fact is that Yeung is JUST A SHAREHOLDER IN THE COMPANY THAT OWNS BCFC.

He's not our owner. Majority shareholder in the owning company, yes, but not the owner. As such, this DOES NOT AFFECT THE CLUB DIRECTLY.

Yes, it might limit the amount of funding we have in the short term but the WORST CASE SCENARIO is that he sells his shares.

:LMAO:

For Goodness sake - - PLEASE - - do not make posts with common sense or reality in them.

:banghead:

Of course - Carson may be found guilty for not paying Full Taxes

- That is what the charges actually relate to - not Money Laundering ( which is the scare headline put out by the Prosecution and now as we speak is being modified by the same prosecution).

Carson does not own enough shares to come under the remit of either the Football League or the Premier - - as a "Fit and Proper person - -
He owns less shares in the club than Usamov does at Arsenal. And he has blocked Kroenke from taking over that club as a Chelsea/Man Utd / Man City/ Liverpool model.

Carson is a "small wheeler-dealer" imo.

But he is committed to Blues.

He has kept us afloat by finding the money to pay for Zigic/Hleb/Bentley/ Derbyshire -- choices of Montgomery and Mcleish - - none of which delivered, but Carson found the money to pay them.
Raised a new share issue ( came to nothing) - borrowed. mortgaged his own properties etc etc.

Did you see Gold/Sullivan ever doing this?

**thumbup

WHY ?

WHY ? - - Would somebody so entraped in financial nightmares, EVER - - EVER -- bother about supporting Blues??
We are the least of his worries at the momemt.
Blues are not involved in the alleged tax-dodging - happemned allegedly long before to came to Bles.

Why should he continue to support Blues?
Pledge Blues Financial support?

What went on with his dad in years past is a Tax Problem. If he owes tax then his dad needs to pay, imo, instead of buggaring off as he seems to have done.

Allegedly :)

Carson may have cut corners in the past, he may owe tax. but that is all that it comes down to imo.

Sullivan and Brady were on police bail for 18 months. For tax evasion.

Although most of us thought nothing would happen, there was the possibility that both of them could have been found guilty.

But no post ever appeared on this forum about a Blues meltdown if they were guilty.

Unlike now.

Willie I can accept as being a non-believer.Always has been against this board.

The Bear - I am astounded -- I thought his ability to see through junk was greater.

Not to worry,.

I will support Pannu and Blues.

Let other people wet their knickers or claim they never supported our board anyway. You stand by your belief or you wither.

I don't go with the wind.

chicago most papers in the uk have a slant on them politically but none of them quite as bad as people on here make out.
I usually just stick to Birmingham Mail for local football news and Talksport on the radio or sky sports news on Tv.

Who cares what the papers say? The picture isn't good whichever way you look at it.

Money laundering or tax dodging - its irrelevant really. If he is convicted it could pose a serious problem to our financial structure. That much is clear. I'm sure there will be even more scrutiny where our finances are concerned regardless of the outcome.

Like I stated previously, I just hope that Yeung does the decent thing and sell BCFC and let us gain some stability under a board who are actually football savvy. It is becoming more and more obvious by the day that this lot haven't a clue what they are doing.
